To introduce the new modular product family, the Scalable Mobile Control System, Hirschmann Automation and Control GmbH arranged a most successful press conference, as well as several press discussions at two of the most vital shows for the construction machinery sector:

On the one hand there was the SPS/IPC/DRIVES from the 25th to the 27th November 2008 in Nuremberg, and on the other hand was bauma China, running from the 25th to the 28th November 2008 in Shanghai. Both shows achieved new records, both in terms of exhibitor and visitor numbers.

In China, too, the effects of the global financial crisis can be felt. The Chinese government has reacted with a package to stimulate the economy. Actual trends in the Chinese construction machinery market can be clearly defined.

The topic of the transfer of know-how: Zanone Training Solutions with its headquarters in Greensboro (North Carolina) has been the exclusive dealer for the Hirschmann product range in three US states since 2001 and arranges technical training courses for Hirschmann products.
